A very positive test for the Althea Racing team at Imola

The Althea Racing team remained at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola on Monday for the official Dorna tests, which were attended by all the riders of the World Superbike Championship with the exception of the Kawasaki and Grillini team. It 'was a good opportunity for Davide Giugliano and his team to continue working on their Aprilia RSV4 and to test some new tires made available by Pirelli. The outcome of these tests has been very positive. In the two sessions David completed a total of 48 laps, constantly turning on the pace of 1'46”9 – 1’47”0. A confirmation of the competitiveness of the RSV4 reached by the Althea Racing team, but also of the consistency of performance of Giugliano, that in Sunday’s races was the only one able to counter the championship leader, Britain's Tom Sykes. The technical staff of Genesio Bevilacqua team has worked a lot on the bike of David also in consideration of the next few races, and even though the temperatures were very high, the young Italian scored the second fastest lap of the day : 1'46 "098 .
